Inside the House

The spacious air conditioned lounge is perfect for winding down after a day by the pool or after a day's sightseeing. We have french TV, DVD player with a good selection of films for all the family. Stereo system.

A charming french country farmhouse kitchen which has the benefit of modern appliances. Ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer.

The mezzanine bedroom is delightfully decorated in typical toile de jolie style.

The attic bedroom, not suitable for very small children as the stairs are steep, but for the 5+ year olds is an intriguing place to play and sleep. Loads of games and books.

Outside the House

The farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and is shown on original maps of the Canal du Midi.

The private pool has an alarm and surrounding wall making it safe for children. Pool shower and sun loungers.

Surrounding Area

A tree lined path along the Canal du Midi, a 10 minute drive from the house. Perfect for walking and cycling.

On a clear day the snow-topped Pyrenees are visible. You can drive to the mountain range within an hour, there's some fantastic little villages in the foothills. UNESCO World Heritage, Cirque de Gavarnie is a day trip away.

The Meditarrenan and Atlantic coasts are equidistant from La Serre and can be reached in about 3 hours.
